Dear All,

Can you Please help me with some advice regarding the following issue?

We have a CISCO3945E/K9 for which password recovery functionality was disabled.

I have tried to factory reset the router but i'm not able to break into ROM.

I have tried everything possible, even to remove the flash card but i'm not able to break into ROM...

Do you have any idea how cold I reset the router to factory default?

Self decompressing the following image:

Are you trying the break sequence within 5 seconds of seeing this line ?

Hi Georg,

While trying to break sequence when mentioned prompt appeared nothing is happening.. booting process is not interrupted, it continues until it's finished.

Thanks !

Kind regards,

Hi,

Thanks !

But it does't work...

The sequence after that site recommend to issue the brake command does not appear on CISCO3945E/K9 booting process.

Kind regards,

Costinel S.
