clear ip nat translation

Hi ,

i have a dynamic nat configured on our core switch ( 6807XL) . i configured more than 15 pool and 14 standard access list and one extended access-list , yesterday one of these pool  ( which using extended access-list ) stopped working , till i used this command: clear ip nat translation *

now everything is working fine. 

i need help to figure out why that happen? and if i add this command:  "nat timeout " is that can help ?

NAT using extended access-list ?  I know it works with standard access list, I never used extended one
