compression/ppp over mpls

hi all,

I'm curious if its possible to run either:

a) ppp between CE on one end to a CE over the other end over mpls

b) ppp compress over MPLS

No to both.

PPP is 4 bytes, there isn't really much to compress and save.

Thank you for the reply, however I should explain myself differently, I am trying to compress the payload which has been PPP encapsulated.

compress stac

but do this on a CE that is on the customer edge:

CE(running compression)----->PE-----P----P-----PE------>CE(running compression)
