Configuring 2504 Controller and 2602E APs

Where do I find complete information on how to configure a WAN with a 2504 controller and Aironet 2602E Access Points.

I will tel u in short.

Terminate one of interface form WLC to your switch. Your Switche x/x Interface should be in Trunk and Native vlan Allowed.

When u will start WLC

it will ask u to configure management interface give ip to it

Servcie Management Interface give ip to it Must be of same subnet as of management.

Cofigure virutal interface as 1.1.1.1 IP.

after that u will be able to access WLC over Web.

Access it

Crate SSID and define authentication mechanism.

Lastly

Connected Access Point to Switch

Connect Console to AP give it ip address

lwapp ap ip address x.x.x.x

lwapp ap getway x.x.x.x

lwapp controller ip address x.x.x.x

After that app will fine controller and it will appear in wlc

i have given u example if u do some research everthing is availabe on Cisco Site u it will be better.

Configuring the Controller—Using the CLI Configuration Wizard

On the 2602i AP.

Configuring it for the 1st time (out from the box). I can access the CLI via console but I don't know the commands to enable accessing the AP via http because all the configuration guides im seeing here use the web configs.

Please assist.
