Hi.
I'm trying to setup Cisco 897-K9 for my VDSL internet connection with dynamic IP (if I will successful then I’ll order a /29 IP prefix).
I was checking different configurations but no of them work.
Some people say I need to put for interface ATM0:
interface ATM0
no ip address
no atm ilmi-keepalive
pvc 8/35
encapsulation aal5mux ppp dialer
pppoe-client dial-pool-number 1
Others that interface ATM0 should be with no config and shutdown.
Also same with subinterfaces:
1).
interface ATM0.3 point-to-point
description Netia
pvc 8/35
encapsulation aal5snap
pppoe-client dial-pool-number 3
2).
interface Ethernet0.101
encapsulation dot1Q 101
pppoe-client dial-pool-number 1
With route or wiuthout route (ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Dialer1)
I’m really confused. Anyone can tell me how to configure it properly to make it work? Maybe it's the fault of my Controller firmware or something else

Hello,
Can I provide something more to help resolve this issue? I really need to make it work ;-(

Hello
The adsl tagged sub-interface needs to have parity with your isp - meaning your current tag of .101 may not be applicable have you checked this?

Hello,
Thanks for reply.
I was contacting my ISP serveral times for configuration details. They said, what I only need for configuring my router it's this:
Line type: VDSL
VPI: 8
VCI: 35
Multiplexing: LLC
Encapsulation: PPPoE
User: xxx
Password: xxx
I can't get any other information about the connection. I've attached screenshot from ISP's router.
I'm wondering why I have rj11 on the cable end and not rj45 as PPPoE should be?
