Hi,

From your "show process cpu" output, it looks like the router is process switching a lot of traffic, and that's what's causing the high cpu. The first step to troubleshoot this sort of problems is to get a "show int statistics" output and figure out on which interface process switching is taking place and in what direction. Some of the common reasons for process switching are access-list logging, ip re-reassembly, etc., which are pretty easy to check. However, if it's causing by something else, the troubleshooting process can get fairly involved to identify the punt path and I would suggest you open a TAC case to have it investigated at that point. Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Wen
