Hello everybody!
I have a question about E1.
I need to transfer data and voice over E1 WAN link. I have to use 1 or 2 timeslots for voice and 29-28 timeslots for data.
Is it possible? Can anyone give me a link?
There is a scheme attached to a post.
Thanks!

It's possible in theory, but complicated and not practical.
If you terminate all the voice interfaces on the routers, you will be able to do VoIP that works perfectly, and use the full E1 for data and voice simultaneously.

Besides all of the above posts, 1 Time Slot equals to 64Kbps, with the type of Codec being used for your VOIP, I dont beleive this will be sufficient for your link between the PBX to the Remote PBX. You are limiting a very small number of the simultanous VOIP Calls.
As also mentioned, its not practical and not implemented in the real world, Instead , I would suggest having a QoS Policer limiting your Data traffic , and use the Full E1 for both VOIP and Data.

Mohamed
