Good morning,

If you have a TE core running ospf or ISIS, can the end nodes be configured to run DMVPN?

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

You run dmvpn over mpls (TE)?

Can I ask why ?

MHM

No particular reason, was just testing to see if I could do it.

First thing try ping dmvpn tunnel IP using source.

Then try use under opsf neighbor dont use network' this will force ospf use unicast not multicast' it can you have issue of multicast over TE.

MHM

Thank you, however when I tried the DMVPN tunnels are up, however none of the routes shows up.

Good morning,

I removed ospf from the tunnel interface and replaced it with eigrp and it worked. I am not sure how to explain it.

Also the only thing make ospf failed and eigrp success is mtu mismatch.

Run

ip ospf mtu-ignore

MHM

Thank you very much, I did not tried that. I will next time.

Take your time

And try match mtu if you can.

Goodluck
