Cox Communications support staff report in a telephone conversation that my DPC3010 cable modem is exhibition frequent mini-resets. This may be why my VoIP telephone modem sometimes reboots itself when I try to make a call.
Is this a problem that has been seen on other DOCSIS3.0 modems?
Is there something I can do to stop this behavior?
How can I access and monitor this behavior from my PC? When I try to address the DPC3010 with the URL http://192.168.100.1, I am taken to http://192.168.100.1/Docsis_system.asp where I’m asked for my user name and password. My user name and password for this forum are rejected. If I was able to log on to the modem, would I be able to see what Cox support staff saw?
