E1 Config - nim-1ce1t1-pri

Hi CSC,

For configuration of the above module for data, is there a generic config that would be applied across the board or are there certain parameters that need to be supplied by the actual circuit provider? Not something I have configured previously. Is this the correct configuration guide?

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/interfaces/NIM/software/configuration/guide/4gen-t1-e1-nim-guide.html#task_1074539

Thanks

Thanks as always Georg,
is that cisco url the correct place for going through the configuration? Or is there another guide you would recommend?

Hello,

the guide is very comprehensive and covers all settings, so that's probably all you need. If you run into any problems, post here again...

Hi Georg, quick addition to this - does this nim default to a particular speed, e.g if the link provided is a 2mbps, I'm wondering if shaping would be required, or if there is a part of the e1 config that hard codes the speed to say 2Mbps
