Hi CSC,

For configuration of the above module for data, is there a generic config that would be applied across the board or are there certain parameters that need to be supplied by the actual circuit provider? Not something I have configured previously. Is this the correct configuration guide?

Hello,

typically, the only settings that might be different depending on the provider you have and/or the region you are in are framing and linecoding. When the line is provisioned, the ISP usually tells you which values you need to configure...

Hi Georg, quick addition to this - does this nim default to a particular speed, e.g if the link provided is a 2mbps, I'm wondering if shaping would be required, or if there is a part of the e1 config that hard codes the speed to say 2Mbps
