E1 unframe data configuration

Dear all,

If I have two E1 router directly connected each other by using G.703 unframe method for data transimission. How to configure the router? Any sample configuration?

Hello

First Time , you must add E1 controller on each router with command  

router-config# card type e1 0 0

router-config# no shutdown

after doing that , the router will create a virtual serial interface,  for example (s0/0/0.0)

you need to attribuete IP @address to serial s0/0/.0

config#int s0/0/0.0

config-int# ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.252

you will do the same command in each router and it will work.

Actually, no iterface is created without configuring channel-group.
