While working through some study material I stumbled across the redistribute application {application-name} option in EIGRP named mode, as follows:
r2.Lab-Router(config-router-af-topology)#redistribute ?
application Application
r2.Lab-Router(config-router-af-topology)#redistribute application ?
WORD Application name
However, I can't find any documentation that specifies what the user-defined application name relates to. There are various different IOS-XE/IOS configurations that reference configuring an application but I'm not quite sure that any make sense. Could be that this is something that is available in the CML IOS-XE commands but not available to the emulated router or it could just be that I'm not finding the technology information. I am comfortable that this option isn't well documented in the command references for EIGRP under topology base or anywhere else that would make sense to look for someone unfamiliar with the secondary technology it references.
