EIGRP to OSPF

Hi

I have EIGRP running between 2 routers and a core switch in my setup the 2 routers are directly connected to the core switch. This setup is due to change with the introduction of  a fortigate  firewall  between routers and the core switch. The attached diagram will give more info on both my current and proposed setup. My question is with the introduction of the fortigate firewall will EIGRP still work since its proprietary or I will have to implement OSPF?

Hi,

Fortigate will not support to EIGRP so Recommended to go with OSPF.

Hi,

I would go with OSPF.

Hello,

I agree with SamerRafid. If you want to keep EIGRP, you would need to run OSPF in parallel, and on the Fortigate, and then redistribute between both, which is not ideal.
