EIGRP Troubleshooting

Hi Good day,

May I request for advice on what went wrong on my laboratory. During the set-up process PC A, B and C can ping each other and works well

I configured necessary interfaces, networks and loop back, use auto summarization for R1 and manual summarization for R3 then I adjusted the bandwidth per the lab instructions and when I came across running

hello-interval

with 60 seconds on each interface s0/0/0 and s0/0/1 on all routers, I received an unusual feeds, I kept on receiving up and down adjacency messages, none stop, I supposed it's not normal?

In addition, PC-A cannot ping PC-B anymore but PC-C can ping all of them, I am thinking there are misconfiguration on R1/R2 interfaces that connects to R2 where PC-B and PC-A communicates and connected.

I am new to this whole networking thing as a part of my laboratory and trying to figure out and learning how it works.

Your kind advice is truly appreciated.

Thank you,

Which is the enable password of the routers?  Put the passwords on the pkt files and I help you.

This is possible why now you experiencing eigrp incomitances , as @Flavio Miranda  suggest please provide the access creds to the PT file and we should then be able to see what is happening

Oh, thank you so much and appreciates it. Below is the credentials for my lab.

Device Password             : cisco

Exec-Mode Password is    : class

I tried to change some configuration in hello -interval from 60 I lowered it to 5 and the error was gone, and it works as expected, I can ping all the PC's now A,B and C.

But what is strange for me now is, I did not use any

hold-time

command and If I did used it, running

hold-time eigrp 1 180

after the hello-interval it does work, thus, I just ignored the

hold-time

command since PC-A,B and C can communicate with each other now.

I am not sure if I did the right thing ignoring

hold-time

thus, I am attaching the new pkt. file that can ping each PC. for your advice, and It will truly help me in a long run.

Thank you in advance,

Sorry see below correction highlighted in blue;
