enable BFD on tunnel interfaces on WS-C6509-V-E

 Hi ,

I was trying to enable BFD on  tunnel interfaces on WS-C6509-V-E but no luck ,

interface TunnelXX

ip address x.x.x.x 255.255.255.252

ip mtu 1400

ip tcp adjust-mss 1360

tunnel source 10.x.x.x

tunnel destination 10.x.x.x

ip access-group 1 in

keepalive 3 10

bfd interval 200 min_rx 200 multiplier 5

!

Current version : Version 12.2(17r)SX7  

Any suggestions or comments ?

Hello

BFD needs to be applied ALSO in under the routing process

router eigrp/ospf xxxx
bfd all-interfaces <-----------------ties all interfaces
or
bfd interface xxxx <----------------ties specific interface
