I have cisco 1841 ios 12.4 (7)

fall tunnels

then in the log message

%EM_FPGA-1-FPGA_RING_FULL: FPGA buffer descripter is full

eliminated only reboot

how to fix it

%EM_FPGA  error codes and seems to be related with encryption or  along those lines, I suggest if you have smarnet to open up TAC case as  there is not much information provided in more depth.

%EM_FPGA-1-FPGA_RING_FULL: FPGA buffer descriptor is full

The error message happen when the incoming packets rate to the FPGA-crypto

engine is faster than the capability that it can handle. As a result, there

is no more FPGA-crypto buffer descriptor and errors will display.

Please configure the following command on the router (in config mode) to

take care of any fragmentation issue with IPSEC:

crypto ipsec df-bit clear

Not sure what ios you are running. Please have a look at the following bug:

CSCei00807 and if you happen to run the code which is affected with this bug then do consider upgrading the firmware.

Hi Anton,

Its time for you to upgrade the firmware. The issue is due to bug.(CSCei00807)

Below are the releases which have the bug fixed.
