Fail over test

Hello,

so we work in our DWDM network using NCS 2002 & NCS 2006 and there are aggregation sites on it. we want to perform fail over test on the network. i'm a little bit confused in the procedure to be followed and also i can't find detailed alarm troubleshooting of the NCSs

we are also not clear here, what failover you were referring here ?

If you have multiple paths between the devices - you generally shutdown one of the path and see other path can work as expected with out any packet drops or traffic interruption,

if the device fail over , if all end device connected to both NCS, you reboot one device at a time see there is no service interruption.
