Hello Cisco community,
I'm having problems with firewall blocking communication between computers.
I'm using Switch Catalyst 3750 & Router 2811 i add both configs in text file.
And Virtual vlan on network adapter that's why most of switchports are set on mode trunk.
Everything is working well when firewall is disabled when it's on i'm getting problems with communication. Is there any way to make it work without disabling firewall? I don't want to configure every computer firewall, there should be a way to configure Router or Switch so firewall would pass connection.
Kind Regards.

Hi Rokas,
It is a default behavior of windows firewall, and also I have experiences with that antivirus as well lol

This firewall on computer, switch and router can't do anything with it, you have to configure every computer by ownself, or if all computer connected to Active Directory you can configure all computer with AD

Hi
Are you referring to windows firewall? It look like an internal company policy applied to the firewall. If the scenario is router and switch no communication problem should arise.
If you are testing with ping, usually it could be blocked by the internal operating system firewall, I have had situations where it is blocked but the rest of the services are able to communicate with other devices.
Hope it is useful

Hey eduardomoi
Yes, i'm referring to windows firewall, Both PC are reseted so nothing is changed, firewall running on default settings.
Yes, i'm testing with ping command between computers
At first i though our company mcafee settings were blocking these connections but since they are default i don't know why it's blocking.
Kind Regards.
