sh flash: it will show the flash size.

57671680 bytes total (6986752 bytes free)

The line cisco WS-C3560X-48 (PowerPC405) processor (revision A0) with (x/y)262144K bytes of memory.

bytes of memory” tells how much RAM in your device. The first parameter  (x) specifies how much Dynamic RAM (DRAM) in your device while the  second parameter (y) indicates how much DRAM is being used.

but in your case total DRAM size is 262144K.

Regards

Please rate if it helps.

Hi Sandeep ,

Thanks for prompt reply.

sh flash: it will show the flash size.

57671680 bytes total (6986752 bytes free)

If you calculate it's showing as 55 MB. Is it really possible .

57671680 (used) + 6986752 (free) = 64658432 (total) or 64 MB flash.

I want to upload to a IOS which required 256 DRAM and 64 MB flash.

So will it support this requirement.

Yes it can be 64MB........some time u can see 128MB.

what is the size of new ios?????

as per your sh flash output, it seems that you will run the new ios "Ipservices". ??

if you dont have enough space then:

You should delete the bin file of previous version IOS from flash by using  delete /f /r flash:filename.bincommand.  Deleting files manually will not be a problem(I have tested several  times before - you can backup file incase of failure) Then you can  upload file to a flash memory and set it as a boot file by using boot system switch all flash:......command

Hi,
I want to ask, is it possible if I want to upgrade the DRAM on Cisco ISR 4451 (before 4G) to 16G. Is there any association with Flash Memory?
Thanks and Regards,
Bella
