Carlos,
Can you check to see if you have enough space in your flash?
"sh flash"

System Bootstrap, Version 12.4(13r)T, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
You could be in luck.
This bootstrap version supports bootup from ROMmon using USB stick.
1. USB stick should not exceed 4 Gb.
2. Not ALL USB sticks are supported (get several brands).
3. Format the USB with FAT16.
4. Copy the IOS into the USB stick and insert into USB port 0.
5. From ROMmon, enter the command "dir usbflash0:" to see if the router can see the USB stick and the contents.
6. To boot the IOS from the USB stick use the command "boot usbflash0:
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I'm afriad that you have no "delete" command in rommon.
Ref: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/800/801/software/configuration/guide/rommon.html
Why do you want to do that? You just use TFTP to get a new ios for this case.

The problem is that whem i use the tftpdnld command and download the file from that (ios file), the flash card not put the file in the flash card and the same files apears again.
Because that i want to delete the file after i download that again from the tftp.

Hi,
Did the router completely load the new IOS via tftp? If not ,what is the error you got?

Carlos,
As Toshi mentioned, if the router is able to boot up fine with TFTPDNLD feature, you should be able to delete the file from the flash.

Yes, i just pass the problem, the tftpdnld command erase everything in the flash card, and now is work fine again!
Now i need help to choose the correct ios, because the ios that i tried not work fine in my line with the Service Provider.
The ISP is ADSL2+ Analog with a interface HWIC 1ADSL.
What is the correct ios for that line?
Thanks in advance...

Check and make sure you have enough DRAM and Flash. IF you do, you can't go wrong with 15.X.

I had the same error and i have tried almost everything but nothing worked but fortunately I had another 1841 so I took out the flash and put it in the other working 1841 which was on already.
Then I formatted flash using format flash:
Connected to a tftp server, uploaded a previous working image of IOS.
Verified the upload and then removed the CF and put it back into to original 1841.
ran a command boot from rommon and it worked!!
I have wasted 2 full days to figure this out but I am glad that it worked for me.
I hope this helps!
