Flash Not available in 3825

Hi,

By mistake the Flash in Cisco 3825 is erased and now the box is in ROM mode. When i try uploading the new ios its not allowing me to upload. in the TFTP server i can after 32MB its again staring for 1. I have attached the ROM Mode details and dir flash: details. Can someone help me in fixing this issue?

Hello,

Since the flash does not have an image, the router is booting to ROMMON

mode. To address this you have couple of options:

Option 1: If you have a spare router (any router that accepts the flash

card), then you can put the flash card in there, then connect that router to

the tftp server, copy the image (ignore the warning) and then put the card

back in router.

Option 2: If you do not have a spare router, then you can load the image via

tftpdnld option. Here is the procedure for tftpdnld recovery.

Please make sure that you are using a TFTP server that supports image size

greater than 16 MB (I would suggest using tftpd32).
