Dear

Cisco Support

My entire network coming working with OSFP without any problem.- Recently we need to make some changes for probe Allot for mamangement the traffic QoS etc.- The point is that, actually we have two type of IP Address, Public and private, where we assigned via PPPoE and under PPPoE we make the NAT.

I need to be centralize the NAT on my core network, the main idea is to put a router-2 next to main router-1, where we will be make the NAT process.

Idea-1:  On router-2 create OSPF and after configure the NAT options.- The cabling can be Allot direct to router-2 and after Router-2 cabling to Router-1 on this way all the traffic will be pass over the Router-2.

Idea-2: Allot will be connect to Router-1, and router-1 will be connect the cabling to router-2

The first idea is that If I have a problem with router-2 all my entire network can be go down.- For this reason I need to be setup this configuration with idea-2

* Allot to R1 and R1 to R2

      OSPF on R2:  for transport the public address that we will be match with the private IP.

Please can you recommend other way for make more easy this changes, please

Hello,

which Alllot device do you have ?

And why would you want to add another NAT device ? On your drawing it looks like Router 1 is the Internet edge, so the NAT should be done there...?

Dear

Georg

Yes, I can make a NAT on Router1.

1. What is the sentence (cli command) on cisco for make the NAT

2. What is the impact of the new process NAT on BGP/OSPF Router,  more resources of Memory, CPU

Do you have any other idea, about how I can make possible this, to be have a Router-2 exclusive for NAT.

Back router-3, I have 32 PPPoE/Router where I have N customer connected to each one, some customer have public IP Address and the rest has private IP Address.- The idea is to be connected the Allot Between Router1 and Router3 and on Router2 make the NAT
