Error That I am getting:
%CRYPTO-3-CONNID_ALLOC_FAIL: Crypto engine failed to allocate a connection ID for negotiation from XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
Routers being Used: 2 Cisco 871
Software: 12.3(8)YI2 in one and Version 12.4(4)T7 in the other
Getting the message in router with 12.3(8)YI2 that is configured for 5 IPSEC Tunnels
In our 871 Cisco VPN router I am getting this above message. I have only 5 IPSEC Tunnels setup in this router.
This messaging started appearing only about 2 weeks ago in a router that has been functioning fine for over a year. I have one tunnel that consistently goes down, forcing me to reboot both routers in order to get the tunnel back up.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
