I have an 1841 at a remote site that terminates its ipsec vpn to an asa5510. I want to create a GRE tunnel to I perform the following on the router;
conf t
int tunnel 5
tunnel source f0/0
tunnel-destination x.x.x.x
and that brings up the tunnel on the router/remote side.
My question is towards the syntax of creating the other end of the tunnel, the ASA does not allow;
conf t
int tunnel 5
How do I create the tunnel interface and once it's created are the rest of the tunnel configuration commands the same as on the routers?
Thanks.

Hi,
I don't think the ASA can terminate a GRE tunnel.

well that blows... any ideas on where I'd terminate GRE tunnels at if my VPN terminations are all on that ASA?
Thanks for the info, I had no idea.
