Dear Experts,
Recently we have added GRE Tunnel to our 7200 router. When pinging the tunnel interface (5000 byte packet ping above) it seems like there are packet drops. Moreover, File transfer trough the tunnel is very slow.
I tried Pinging the physical interface and it was successful (Meaning there is a problem with the tunnel). Even more, I have replaced the 72000 with 2821. I succeeded pinging the tunnel and the file transfer was fast again, leaving the problem with 7200 itself.
What can I do?
Best Regards,
Tzachi Slav

Hey medan,
The Path mtu of the tunnel is 1440. Thus, I cannot use the command IP MTU 1500.
