how do i install VWIC3-2MFT-T1/E1 on 1921 router ?

My friend gave me 4 VWIC3-2MFT-T1/E1 that he got for free from his networking friend. anyway i wanted to use this cards for my home lab to practice for CCNA. i installed them but it says that i need commands or something.

you will need to configure using the card type command. Either check the command reference on cisco's site, or:

conf t

card type ?

I don't think the card is supported on the 1921 at all. Check Table 2 of the attached document. After installing the card and rebooting the router, does the card show up in 'sh ver' ?

not sure if it will show up in a sho ver until the card type commands are in place. 

but if it is recognized by the router it would show up when you issue "sho inventory"
