How to authenticate on 801.x?

I want to hook up my lab to my school's network, unfortunately, every device directly connected needs to authenticate with 801.x. I'm not sure how to do this. How do I enter my credentials on my router?

The goal is for me to be able to obtain internet access on devices which don't support enterprise protocols.

My lab consists of a router (2600) and a switch (2960). Thanks!

Hi,

Please visit following guide for configuration of 802.1x authentication.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750x_3560x/software/release/12-2_55_se/configuration/guide/3750xscg/sw8021x.html

Hi

To authenticate a switch to another switch, this is called NEAT. (Make the switch acting as supplicant to another switch)

You can take a look on these documentations for the configuration:

https://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios-xml/ios/sec_usr_8021x/configuration/15-2mt/sec-ieee-neat.html

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/lan-switching/8021x/116681-config-neat-cise-00.html

Thanks
Francesco
