Just remember that you cant have an IPv4 configured interface process netflow of IPv6 packets
and IPv6 configured interface process IPv4 packets for netflow data.
and additional question, why do you have that kind of setup?

we have a 6504 with 12.2 ios version which is ipv6 capable and we have ipv4 as well as ipv6 segment outside.
so we have to mointor ipv4 and ipv6 traffic passing through 6504 interface

Im pretty sure 6504 is a switch
Anyway, with regards to that, if im correct there are additional configurations you need to do when enabling NetFlow on a L3 switch (MLS config to be exact)
--after this, configure NetFlow as you would configure it on router
the above config is what I prefer, but if you want a document, here it is: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/switches/catalyst-6500-series-switches/70974-netflow-catalyst6500.html
