Hi,

Can we implement HSRP on two routers that are connected point to point?? Will that work?

Also, if in a HSRP environment i do not configure priority on both the routers, and it takes the default as 100, will HSRP work here? Will traffic pass through??

Two HSRP routers may connect point-to-point for HSRP. However if HSRP interfaces are to be used for something useful they must be connected via shared infrastructure.

Only HSRP-like protocol I have seen that works using point-to-point link is NSRP.

No priority is not a problem.
