HWIC-1GE-SFP

Hello,

Will a HWIC-1GE-SFP with a GLC-LH-SM work on a FastE circuit?  The circuit provider is handing off a FastE fiber cicuit to a 2800 series router that has this HWIC and GLC installed and I'm not sure if this equipment will be compatible with the circuit.

No it won't because both HWIC-1GE-SFP and GLC-LH-SM will only negotiate to 1 Gbps.
