IE4000-8S4G-E UP Link ports

Hi,

I want to design a industrial network and I though in some IE4000-8S4G-E.

This industrial switch has 8 SFP ports (downlink) and 4xSFP and 4xGe Combo (Uplink).

Can I use the Uplink ports as downlink port and only have a one SFP as Uplink port?

I think that it is possible becasue the switch support level 2 and 3 (switching and routing) but I need to confirm this configuration.

yes you can use combination,but they are different ASIC

IE4000-8S4G-E - as per i know this device support both Layer 2 and Layer 3
