Hi,

Since you have SIP, you also have to upgrade FPD:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/shared_port_adapters/configuration/7600series/76fpd.html#wp1063108http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/shared_port_adapters/configuration/7600series/76fpd.html#wp1063119http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/shared_port_adapters/configuration/7600series/76fpd.html#wp1063130

1. Copy the IOS Image and corresponding FPD package from CCO to the flash card. You can insert it to one of working routers and copy from TFTP server.

2. Put the flash card into disk0 slot on new RSP. Connect on console.

3. Boot the router.

4. If it falls into ROMMON, run:

     confreg 0x2102

     sync

     boot disk0:

5. When the IOS is booted, copy FPD package and IOS file to the sup-bootdisk or bootflash (check the flash size to ensure it is enough to hold both files).

     show sup-bootdisk:

     show bootflash:

     copy disk0: sup-bootdisk:

     copy disk0: sup-bootdisk:

6. Change the boot string:

     conf t

          config-reg 0x2102

          boot system flash sup-bootdisk:

          end

     wr

7. Reload to boot with new image and make sure everything works fine.

8. Check the modules status and image version:

     show version

     show module
