Hello, why is gig interface with fibre cable and serial interface show interface status as down/down when other end port is shut or cable is pulled off but fastethernet port show up as up/down even if you pull the cable at both ends. As fastethernet shows up/down even when the interface has no cable attached, I doubt calling ISP when I see fa0/0 as up/down. I used to think up/down meant far end problem with all interface standards.
