I am by passing a service provider and using some internal fiber provided internal to my organization so I have to connect my routing switch & a router to a Ciena 5142. Both of my Cisco devices see each other, but I'm getting lots of unknown protocol drops a few periodic drops with last less than a sec throughout the day. Has anyone had to troubleshoot these Ciena devices?
