I did a copy tftp of a new IOS image, did a dir, it showed up on the flash, saw no errors, and a little while later after getting a window to reload, scheduled the reload on the router and just as a forethought, double checked the image, and it was gone, the flash was empty.
What would cause this to happen? I uploaded the image again using ftp after finding the reason ftp didnt work the first time, ftp was blocked on the firewall.

I had to delete the existing image to make room for the new one, I couldnt load both, so this is a scary situation as it is a remote location.
