• Which ios to be preferred if two devices have to be upgraded but one got upgraded and other timeline is breached.?

what is the current running code, i would always go with 5 Start rating Image for upgrading by reading the release notes.

Just a reminder Cisco "Safe Harbor" is completely the opposite to the "star" image.  

Cisco's Safe Harbor is the pinnacle to "quality control" and "quality assurance".  Anyone running a code with "Safe Harbor" can be assured the IOS is stable and can be guaranteed a trouble-free uptime.
