Queries on how to update IPS signature version 605 to version 897?

That depends on how you manage your IPS. Two ways:

1. In IDM, configure automatic signature updates from cisco.com. These are checked for example once a day and applied if there are new updates.
2. Download the new signatures when they come available and apply them manually. This is possible both on CLI and in IDM where IDM is much easier.
   The Threat-defense Bulletin will tell you when new updates are available.

Anyway we have manage to install the update manually.
