IR 1101 Routers overheating and shutting down

We have a large deployment of Cisco IR1101 Routers in outdoor Equipment cabinets That have exhaust fans and air flow filters

They are ruining a config that has a DMVPN and other security features. But now we are getting reports of these overheating failures

We are presently investigating these installations. But i wanted to see if this is a known issue with this model of hardened equipment .

 - Depends , is the environment they are operating in sufficiently cooled ? You need to look at the datasheets for the involved Cisco equipment and check the supported operating temperature(s) - range.
