Hi,
We know that classical Ethernet (with C-VLAN) is connectionless. We don't need to establish a connection prior to transmit the Ethernet data.
Is PBB woul be different with its operator addressing?
Thanks for your words,
Michel

Michel,
From the customer's perspective, no, the PBB is just as connectionless as a plain Ethernet or a PB (Q-in-Q) service. Of course it requires some deal of configuration on the provider's side but the details of that configuration are hidden to the customer.
Best regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your comments.
(You are anywhere, WAN, LAN)
The frame analysis you sent are very interesting. Could I ask you more details?
- ARP request from frame 9 and 11 are not with the broadcast DA. How is it possible?
- The frame 3 is 60 byte long. It seems we have here PAD and FCS. In this case, that would be 64 bytes, the minimum length. Am I wrong?
Best regards,
Michel
