Dear sir,
I am using 1600 Series Cisco router at my end to connect to ISP through ISDN line. I have configured the router for ISDN Connectivity.
And I am issuing command isdn call interface bri 0 " dialer sting" .
But it is showing unrecognised command.
Please tell me what command should I use to trigger ISDN line.
Regards,
Ashu.

Hi Ashu,
To trigger ISDN line there should be some interesting traffic.
Dialer string is just to specify a number which you want your router to dial. If dialer string command is not working on your router can you try "dialer map" command.
Also to specify interesting traffic you can specify "dialer group" and then bind it with your dialer list.
eg
"
int bri0
dialer group 1
dialer-list 1 protocol ip permit
!--- Permit IP on dialer group 1 as interesting packets
"

Is this a 1603 router? What IOS version do you have? Can you post your configuration and debug isdn q931 output (to observe your call setup and/or tear down)?
Josef.
