Ok no money to buy an ISDN Simulator to play :(
But trying to think out of the box, can I use a couple off routers using an ISDN Intef, and connect them Back-to-Back? (I’ll hope this does not burn's my routers :)

No you cannot do that. VConsole makes comparitively cheaper simulators. Check with them. YOu can also get them via ebay. There is a 2 port isdn simulator PCI card and software from vconsole which is also cheaper.
I bought my teltone isdn sim via ebay at around 350USD.

I purchased the teltone ils-2000 used.
Because Teltone's website is closed,
"Configuration Software" required for device setting cannot be obtained.
Is this software no longer available?

Hello,
Teltone is Lockheed Martin now. I would contact their customer service and ask if they have the software available...

Hi Georg,
Thank you for your reply.
I would like to use ISL-2000 if I can get the software.
Regards.
