Hello,
Im new, learning and studying for CCNA, Have a home lab.
I have a ISR 1921, PID CISCO1921/K9 V05 That appears to have two exapnsion hwic or ehwic module slots. I'm assuming i can use an HWIC but not sure about the EHWIC. I want to add interfaces so that i can connect this router to another 1921 and have interfaces available to connect switches.
Can the ports on the HWIC or EHWIC be used for connecting routers together?

Sure this is WIC, so you can connect to any device that has Ethernet support.

EHWIC offers high data rates, if this is for testing, you have install HWIC and do testings.
check module features section :

Can these cards be used to connect multiple switches to the ISR 1921?
