ISR4431 IOS-XE 17.3.3 and ROMMON 16.12(2r) compatibility?

Hi folks,

Is IOS-XE 17.3.3 compatible with ROMMON 16.12(2r) on the ISR4431?

My new router is running 16.7(5r), which is above the minimum release for 16.x.x, but not the recommended release for 16.9.x or later. 17.x.x is yet mentioned anywhere.
