ISR4431 upgrade firmware IOS XE 16.12

There are no document for the recommended CPLD and ROMMON software for IOS XE 16.12

I can only find it for 16.3

 

Do I need to upgrade CPLD and ROMMON and in what order do I upgrade?

The latest ROMMON firmware for the 4431 ISR is 16.12(2r).

The command to upgrade is 

upgrade rom-monitor file  bootflash:isr4400_rommon_1612_2r_SPA.pkg all

Reboot the router. 

To verify, use the command

sh platform all
