layer 2 broadcast on MPLS

are Remote wireless  users and local user assigned to same SSID (each SSID is mapped to one Vlan and IP addresses ranges in the controller) considered to be actually on the same VLAN? if yes, how layer 2 broadcast messages are transmitted over layer 3 MPLS?

The link below describes how this is done. Perhaps not entirely your setup but this mechanism is universally used on WLC's:

In fact the AP has a tunnel with the WLC over which the user traffic is sent.
