Hi,

i bought a C1111-4P for personal use. It means, no smart licensing enabled, but the router is on Version 16.9 > traditional licensing is available.

Now i would buy the SL-1100-4P-SEC and SL-1100-4P-APP licenses. Can i activate on it? If they are activated, it is possible to upgrade to 17.x Version without enabling smart licensing? It will works with the 2 licenses?

Anything above 16.9 or 12 onwards smart License :

you can enable by the proceedure.

because i'm personal user, i cant register smart account for smart licensing. This is the reason why i want to register it with the old way, wich is possible in ver 16.9.

The quesdtion go to Cisco BU, cisco moved the system to smart License, i provided other way you can register one time.
