Load balancing is distributing load equally to all participating links.
Load sharing is something link flow based distribution of traffic to participating links.
Say you have two link and if both links are seen with same amount of traffic you can say it is load balanced. load-sharing per-packet and multilink ppp
is example of this.
load-sharing per-destination and using bgp for sharing is example of load sharing.
