Hi,
Cisco recommends to increase the key length while you generate the rsa keys for ssh to resolve the error above.

How do I check the current key size? Do you know the command?

There is no such command for displaying the key length. The Cryto key generate rsa command is not saved in the router configuration. however, the RSA keys are saved in the private configuration in NVRAM (which is never displayed to the user or backed up to another device) the next time the configuration is written to NVRAM.
