Lookup! where packets dropped internal or external network

Hi,

I want to trace (lookup) all my traffic topology means packets going out from my PC to an internet user's PC. How can I find that at which point my traffic got dropped as I used tracert/traceroute for traffic map.

Because I've one server on the internet which I can access from my internal network but when coming from outside to inside through tunnel is make me dropped at my CORE. in internal network my CORE reaches to that server successfully with an outside interface IP, when I ping to it(Server).

Can someone please help me solving this issue. It will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi,

Which is your device? Are you using ASA? If yes then you can go with Packet Tracer feature of ASA and router.

No dear my request is to track and get the information of every packet going out from my PC or in my internal network to every nod and what changes it(Packet) will face will happen to it. Any software of monitoring tool will be helpful. If any idea please advice.

Reason of this tack is to track my internal traffic without using firewall because I've not and do not want to buy.
